On February 28, we will be sunsetting Reverb LP. The decision to close Reverb’s record marketplace is a difficult one, but it will allow us to fully focus on what we do best: Helping music makers of all levels and sellers of all sizes around the world buy and sell musical instruments.
Whether you’re a record store owner that found extra income on Reverb LP, you spent hours on the site digging for records to add to your collection, or you just tried the platform out once or twice—thank you. The record community is a passionate one that we were honored to have worked with and learned from throughout the lifespan of Reverb LP.
Since 2013, Reverb has grown into an online community where millions go to buy and sell music gear—but we’re far from finished. This year, we have big opportunities and even bigger goals that require us to focus our time and efforts. We’re proud of the team and learnings we gained while building Reverb LP and we’re excited to have them both as we continue to grow our gear marketplace in 2020 and beyond.
